Newburyport: Are you as smart as a “Jeopardy!” champ? The Rotary Club of Newburyport invites you to test the trivia waters, as Newburyport resident and business owner Jill Santopietro Panall hosts and shares her “Jeopardy!” expertise with those brave enough to play a local version of the popular quiz show. The games will be held on Thursday, November18, at the Elks Club on Low Street in Newburyport.  Doors open at 6:30 and at 7:00 let the games begin!  Jill and her team have prepared questions that will span many categories, so everyone has an opportunity to showcase his or her unique knowledge. Proceeds will support college scholarships for local students. According to Newburyport Rotary Club President Dan Hartman, “The club contributes up to $9,000 per year in scholarships to local graduating seniors. We are proud of our students and happy to help them. “
Our major sponsor again this year is the Institution for Savings. Round sponsorships are available for $100 each.
Bring a team of up to 5 players, or we can create a team for you. The entry fee is $125.00 per team, or $25 per person if you would like us to add you to a team.  Grand Prize for the winning team is $250. Other fun prizes are on tap, too.  Food and drink will be available for purchase. The fun is on the house! Be crowned the Smartest Team on the Seacoast! You may register online or email newburyportrotary@gmail.com for more information or to register your team.
