Welcome to the Rotary Club of Newburyport, Massachusetts. I am honored to be the 2010 – 2011 President of the Rotary Club of Newburyport. The Rotary Club of Newburyport was chartered as a service organization in 1923. The club has enjoyed 87 years of promoting the objective of Rotary “Service above Self” in four primary areas, referred to as the Avenues of Service; Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service and International Service.

The theme for this year’s Rotary International year is “Building communities, Bridging Continents.” Join the Rotary Club of Newburyport as we help to build our community and bridge continents to make a better world for all. We have been asked this year to develop bigger, better and bolder Rotary clubs. Won’t you join us as we do just that in Newburyport and beyond?

There have been many that have gone before us in Rotary and more that will come after us. I look forward to honoring the achievements of the past and forging a path to make Rotary a bigger, bolder and better club for those now just considering a life and career of “service above self.”
