We had no music today, April 5th, so Zack Longley, with his booming voice, opened our meeting by singing "God Bless America". George Cashman gave the invocation. After lunch of chicken marsala or baked stuffed scallops and crawfish, Zack again led us in singing #20 in the songbook, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", in honor of our Boston Red Sox.
Student Guests
Pres. Geri asked Dean McLellan to introduce our student, but where was he? Jay Howlett, with a mouthful of food, said he would do the honors; but at that point, Dean came back into the room. He introduced Lauren Seaman and Ryan Durkee, both seniors at Triton Regional High School.
Lauren is involved in community service, National Honor Society, and is an officer of BPA (Business Professionals of America). She is a member of the math team, yearbook staff and a tutor. Lauren plans to attend Boston College and become a teacher.
Ryan is involved in the school musicals and plays, play baseball and JV basketball and is a member of the National Honor Society, Community Service and the jazz choir. He has been acepted to six colleges, but has narrowed it down to Gordon College or Merrimac College with plans to study business administration.
