Program
Our own Jay McGovern spoke today about his weekend at PETS. He asked one of the newer members if they knew what PETS stood for, and they didn't. Even some of the older members did not know. For those of you who don't know, it stands for, President-Elect Training Seminar.
It was a three day, intense introduction to Rotary. There are 40 clubs in our district, but this was a multi-district seminar-480 clubs with 478 people in attendance. Jay said this was the heaviest dose of Rotary he has received since talking to George for half an hour. He found it to be very interesting and informative and now he is ready to take over in July.
