President Geri rang the opening bell at 12:14 on September 28th according to Jim Hughes. Bill Lipman took attendance and Russ and Zack led in singing "God Bless SAmerica". George Cashman delivered the invocation before lunch of baked chicken or steak tips. John Budzyna then led the club in singing "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning".

Win Damon introduced visiting Rotarians.

 

Happy Dollars

 

Bill Piercey announced a charity softball event for Park Lunch employees to be held October 15 and 16.

 

Announcements

  • Jim Connolly announced that the membership is responsible for bringing quest speakers each week.
  • Sue Christ, Jay McGovern, and Geri Dorr will be attending the District Conference in Maine.
  • Sue Christ would like to establish a sisterhood in another country. Some suggestions were Australia, New Zealand, or England.

 

Interact Club

 

The Interact Club is feeling left out, so Geri Dorr and Jay Howlett are going to one of their meetings. Austin Spinella will cook some Thursday night with the Interact Club.

 

Birthdays and Anniversaries

 

Happy Birthday to Bill Piercey, Austin Spinella, and Pete Kelly. Jonathan Woodman celebrated his anniversary this week.

 

New Members Inducted

 

Two new members were inducted into the club today. Wendy Smith of Simply Sweet was inducted by Geri Dorr; and Liz Jutras of Appliance Warehouse was inducted by Norm Jutras.

Raffle

 

The raffle was won by someone for an undisclosed amount of money.
